MSL Electrical Ltd was appointed to design and deliver the complete electrical installation at Saniflo Watford, a large installation project in Hertfordshire.

Saniflo Watford presented a number of significant installation challenges.

The property features exceptionally high ceilings, requiring specialist access scissor lifts to safely carry out installation works. Cable routing was also particularly demanding due to the extensive exposed large structural RSJ beams throughout the building.

Careful planning of cable routing and specialist RSJ cable clamps were used to safely and efficiently run cables throughout the building.

MSL Electrical worked closely with the construction team to overcome these challenges through detailed planning, careful cable routing and continual coordination with other trades.

Electrical routes were planned around the structural timberwork and building services, ensuring that the installation could be delivered efficiently without compromising the finished appearance of the property.

Working at significant heights required appropriate access equipment and safe working procedures, allowing the installation to progress safely while maintaining the high standards expected on a prestigious residential project.

Energy efficiency was an important consideration for the client.

The electrical installation was developed to complement the property’s energy-conscious design, incorporating modern technologies including EV charging, PV Solar panels, renewable technology and super-efficient warehouse Highbay LED lighting with separate microwave sensors on each.
